At 0900 hours, a FANG pilot conducting a routine Code 3-1 flight in Attack Heli 1-1 encountered unexpected severe weather, forcing the aircraft off course. During this time, the onboard computer systems crashed, leading to a temporary loss of contact with INS-ATC.

With navigation compromised, the pilot relied on familiar terrain and visual landmarks to reorient himself. Spotting what he believed to be the INS Base, he initiated landing procedures. However, something felt off—this wasn’t the base. Circling the area to assess, he took reconnaissance photos using his trusty Nokia flip phone.

Before he could assess further, a raid alarm was triggered, and an Anti-Air missile was launched. With the computer systems rebooting just in time, the pilot executed evasive maneuvers and hightailed it back to INS Base.

Status Update

Pilot: Safe and ready for duty.
Attack Heli 1-1: Sustained minor bullet damage, currently under repair.
Intel: All images and flight logs have been handed over to PK for analysis.
Next Steps: FANG’s elite AlSunnah pilots are being assembled for a reconnaissance mission - this time with a better camera.
